The Competition Authority of Kenya (“the Authority”) takes the security (collection and disclosure) of your personal information seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to the Microsite https://icn.co.ke/ which the Authority has developed to coordinate the registration of delegates to the ICN Advocacy Workshop from 21^st – 23^rd February, 2024.

The Authority commits that the information collected on this Microsite, including but not limited to the names and contacts of delegates, will be handled with utmost due care. The collected information may be used to, among others, collect feedback via surveys, offer emergency advice, and provide documentary information relating to the Workshop.

By providing your details to the Authority via the Microsite, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your information within the Authority in accordance with this Policy. If you do not consent to the same, please do not access or use the Service.

The Authority is cognizant of the requirements of the Data Protection Act, No 24 of 2019 in Kenya. Therefore, Authority will only disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

(a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the Authority;

(b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Authority; and

(c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of the microsite users or the Public.
