The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) is pleased to welcome you to attend the 4th ICN Advocacy Workshop to be held on 22 – 23 February 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya. This travel information note is, therefore, prepared to provide you with the necessary information on your upcoming travel, the programme, and logistical information.

HOST CITY
Nairobi is an international hub for businesses and an entry into the East and Central African countries. Itais therefore, accessible from most of the world cities through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi and is the only capital city in the world which boasts of a national park – the Nairobi National Park – within its environs where you can enjoy dawn or dusk game drives. While in Nairobi, you can also visit the renowned Karen Blixen Museum, and the enchanting Giraffe Centre, or tour the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
The temperatures in Nairobi in February are comfortable with a low of 15°C and high up to 27°C. You can expect about 3 to 8 days of rain in Nairobi during the month of February. TRANSPORT

To avoid sitting in traffic to and from the airport, you may opt to use the Expressway.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
Nairobi boasts of many social activities including a visit to the Nairobi National Park and Animal Orphanage, Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Nursery, Karen Blixen Museum, Nairobi National Museum, and Nairobi Railway Museum, among others. Nairobi’s nightlife is vibrant, do take time to explore and experience.
VISA

MEALS
During the Workshop, the organizers will provide tea, and snacks at 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m as well as lunch at 1:00 p.m.
